- Thawabit ‘ala Darb -
For every ideology, there are constants that do not change no matter what would come. Then there are things that change, suitable with the demands of the local conditions. For example, solat. It is fixed form the day we were ordained to perform it until now. We cannot change it in any form, and Allah will not allow us to do so. On the other hand, for example, the appointment of the caliphs, from Abu Bakar to Ali, there were different methods that held them up and appointed. But despite the varying methods, the basis of their appointment, requirements and conditions remained the same.
In here, we are going to see the constants on the path of jihad, as discussed by Anwar al-Awlaki from the book of Yusuf al-Uyairi.
